You’re Invited to the 2016 Spring Festival Party!

Dear International Students,

Winter holiday is coming! To make your winter vacation safe and enjoyable, we would like to invite you to attend the 2016 Spring Festival Party. Here are some details you should know:

1. Winter vacation (4 weeks in total) runs from January 24^th to February 20^th, 2016, in accordance with the school calendar. Registration is open from February 20^th to 21^st, and the new semester officially begins on February 22^nd.

2. In order to celebrate Spring Festival, the University invites all students who are staying at school during the winter vacation to the Spring Festival Dinner party. Separate parties will be held on all four SYSU campuses. Please check the chart below for details:

Please note that tickets are available at the school or department which you’re studying in. Please show your vouchers and student cards when attending the party.

3. Canteens at all four campuses will provide all students with Spring Festival dumplings free of charge on the morning of February 8, 2016 .

4. We will also organize activities for Spring Festival, including a movie screening. Tickets will be distributed during the dinner party.

5. All students shall:

(1) Observe the law, public order, and school regulations, and actively take part in social public activities;

(2) Enhance awareness for fire safety, theft prevention, and personal safety.

(3) Pay attention that outsiders are not allowed entrance to the party.

(4) Please return to school on time. If you cannot return on time due to some particular circumstance, please ask for a leave in advance.

6. Students may register at the school or department which you’re studying in to apply for the tickets.
