Biography: 

Xie Guixia obtained her M.A.degree at the School of Foreign Languages of SYSU, and her Ph.D. degreeat the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She worked as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and taught part-time at the Butler University of Indiana, the United States. She is experienced in interpreting, translation and translation program management.

She teaches literature reading, translation theory and practice, stylistics and translation, etc.
