Biography:
In 2000, 2005 and 2012, Ma graduated from School of Foreign Languages, SYSU and received B.A., M. A., and Ph.D. degree respectively.
In Sep. 2005, Ma Participated in the program of “Convention relative à une cotutelle de thèse de doctorat de lettres-langues” signed between SYSU and Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, and received a Ph.D. degree in cross-cultural studies from the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in 2011. During the program, supported with the 2006/2007 scholarship of “Mobilité internationale en Rhône-Alpes” by the government of Rhône-Alpes, France, she prepared doctoral dissertation in Liberal Arts College, Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 on cross-cultural studies for one year.
· Work Experience
2007-2008 coordinating the exchange program between the SIS, SYSU and the Université Jean Moulin Lyon III.
2012-2013 visiting Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), teaching Chinese there as well as coordinated cooperation between the SIS and GUST.
Jun. 2013-present teaching in SIS on courses including Comprehensive English, English Reading(the humanities and history in general) and English Reading (modern world) as well as participating in the construction of “Task-based, Knowledge-oriented and Open-ended Reading Courses System”.
Academic Activities:
Research domains are contemporary western critical theory and cross-cultural studies.
